Fairly Tale—Making Tremendous Progress of Chun-Shan Junior High School

Chun-Shan Junior High School is located at ER-Lin land consolidation.  In 1983, the school is established according to the blooming development at Shoukong District.  Kaohsiung Educational Department set up a preparatory committee of Kao-Song Junior High School.  The name of Kao-Song Junior High School has been changed to Chun-Shan Junior High School in 1985 and started to recruit its students at Tai-Ping Elementary School.  After the first stage of the school’s construction finished, the school moved to its own campus which is located at number 352, Han-Ming Road, Shoukong District, Kaohsiung in 1986.  The school regional plan was the park reserved area and Han-Ming Elementary School on the eastern side of the school, the residential area on the western side, Shou-Kong Senior High School and Teenager’ Cultural Stadium (Community Center )on the southern side, as well as a twenty-five meter width of Han-Ming road designed with the shopping area on the northern side of the school.  Those high rise buildings and flourished business activities brought a meaning of founding Chun-Shan.  The first principal of Chun-Shan Junior High School, Mr. Kuo-Hwa Chien, organized the school with cautious and conscientious, well-planned blueprint, plus his devotion to the school for the next following 7 years.  This contribution leaded the expansion of the school to a large school with great school’s administration.  Mr. Mon-Chien Huang, the second principal of the school, keeps his hardworking spirit to move the school toward a better structure after August 1^st, 1992.  A proverb said “Education is a task coming endless, a root of a nation, a key to enter the society for students as well.”  Mr. Chiun-Dong Liu of the third principal accorded the proverb to manage the school since August 1^st of 1996.  Principal Liu not only inherited those good traditions of Chun-Shan, but also emphasized innovation and creation, as well as the garden greening campus and ethical education under a stable movement of the school.

A principal with practical and realistic, moderate attitude

Mr. Wen-Chi Ting（丁文祺）, was appointed as the third principal of Chun-Shan Junior High School since August 1^st, 2003.  Principal Ting would like to further aggressively develop the school with 4 feasible visions: L.I.F.E. with his practical and realistic character.  These 4 visions are Learning, Information, Future, and Excellence with the further enlightenment as follows: From the rights of student’s be educated and the dedicated meaning of education threshold, the school tries to train its students with the attitudes of being clean, discipline, politeness, diligence, democracy, law and order, and the ways of solving problems.  Moreover, the school also focuses on the relationship and cooperation of teachers and parents, the implementation of local cultural education and the school community.  Consequently, those aspects will lead the school development to reach another extraordinary achievement in continuous learning as well as multi-intelligences

Magnificent School Buildings and well-equipped facilities on the campus

The school is designed under 2 categories: classrooms and sports field.  The classrooms and administrative buildings are Hung-Dow Building, Tzung-Shai Building, Tze-Yuen Building, and Yen-San Building.  For the sports field, the school now has one stadium, sports field, basketball court, and tennis court.  In addition, the school included 23 various laboratories, such as 2 visual and audio labs, 2 language labs, 3 computer labs etc.  Another school feature is that we have a team of energetic, enthusiastic, professional teaching methods, and lively teachers.  Not only this, the campus also has won the excellence awards by its garden greening and clean environment, and the school evaluation among Kaohsiung junior high schools.  Those unique elements compose the best outcomes in the ways of the students’ learning, derived superior personality, and brought up elegant and clean soul.

The term of Chun-Shan is represented its serious, never give-up, confronted spirits.  The school wishes all of its students will continue study, find appropriate directions, confrontation, and never stop until they reach success after they graduated from Chun-Shan Junior High School.  After the establishment of the school, the achievements of Chun-Shan Junior High School have been admired by others.  We do believe the school will have brilliant prospects under the efforts of the school, teachers, and the students.  We also give our best blessing to all of our graduated students to have a successful study with wonderful future.
